Kyaros is a luxury cat resort in Krimpen aan de Lek, established in 2011. It offers spacious rooms with both indoor and outdoor enclosures, equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, and mechanical ventilation. This ensures a comfortable and healthy environment for the cats. The facility is suitable for almost all cats, including those with special needs. There are various accommodation options, such as group rooms and private rooms. Kyaros also offers additional care options such as the VIP Cat Lounge and Special Care for cats that require extra attention or a specific diet. The cats are free to roam around the rooms all day long, enjoying each other's company. This freedom ensures they always have choices, and that's what matters most to cats! Each room has litter boxes with wood and litter, with or without a hood, a water fountain and large water bowls, and plenty of climbing and hiding places. And each room is designed for a specific type of cat! We have a climbing room with plenty of high-rise features and a large outdoor run for the energetic cats, as well as rooms that offer more peace, quiet, and hiding places. During their stay, cats receive high-quality food from Voskes and Royal Canin, presented in feeding games to encourage eating. There's daily playtime with a variety of toys and, of course, plenty of cuddle time! Each room has ample climbing and clambering space. And don't forget! Kyaros regularly shares photos and videos of the cats on Instagram, allowing owners to keep track of their pets remotely.

What's unique about Kyaros is that we offer a suitable solution for almost all cats, including those requiring extra care. Our building was newly constructed in 2022 and is fully cat-friendly. In our luxurious building, we have five cat rooms, three of which have outdoor enclosures, and the cattery is built behind the owner, Mariska's, house. During the day, we are, of course, busy cleaning and caring for the cats, as well as running our extensive entertainment program, which provides all cats with playtime and, above all, plenty of cuddles.

Is my cat welcome?
In principe zijn er dus weinig opties waarbij wij uw kat niet op kunnen vangen. Wel zijn er een aantal eisen waar alle katten aan moeten voldoen als ze bij ons logeren. Check dit vooraf goed, mocht het niet kloppen zijn we namelijk genoodzaakt om de kat aan de deur te weigeren. Voor de zekerheid kunt u altijd contact opnemen met ons om te overleggen of de kat voldoet aan de juiste voorwaarden.
Wij merken dat voor katjes de 1e keer altijd het meest wennen is, vandaar dat we geen nieuwe katjes in de zomervakantie voor de 1e keer toelaten.

Vaccinations
Your cat must be fully and validly vaccinated upon arrival. Without valid proof of vaccinations, we cannot accept your cat, regardless of the reason. This is essential for the health of your cat and the other cats in our boarding house. The veterinarian decides when a vaccination booster is required; this can be found in the vaccination record/passport. This is therefore always the determining factor.
Sneezing disease – mandatory: administered between at least 3 weeks before the start and no later than 1 year before the collection date. (Any booster must also be administered 3 weeks before the start. The veterinarian determines whether this is necessary and will be indicated in the vaccination record.)
Cat flu – mandatory: administered between a minimum of 3 weeks and a maximum of 3 years before departure.
Bordetella – not required, preferably not. If provided, please provide at least 6 weeks before the start of your stay.

Without a cancellation service, we apply the Dibevo cancellation guidelines.
Cancellation up to 2 months before delivery: administration costs of € 25 per cat,- –

Cancellation within 2 weeks before delivery: 100% of the price.

Especially for longer periods, it's important that cats have the space they need, and Kyaros offers that. Not only do we have a spacious room for cats, but we also have five different rooms, allowing us to rotate between them.
Special Care

In our Special Care room, we offer a safe, calm, and loving environment for cats with special diets, medical needs, picky eaters, senior cats, or cats recovering from surgery. This room is specially designed for: 🥣 Cats on a strict diet or picky eaters who quickly lose weight 💉 Cats with medical needs such as diabetes 🐾 Senior cats who need more supervision 🛏️ Cats who need to recover quietly after surgery Depending on their health, they can roam freely in the room with a group of other cats. We also offer the option of providing partial care in our own kennel. In this room, we use Surefeeder feeders so we can separate the food for each cat. Additional charge: €7.50

🏡 Private Room – All the peace and quiet for your cat(s) alone Want to give your cat(s) all the peace, space, and privacy they need? Then a private room is the perfect choice. No other cats around – just your own pet(s) in a comfortable, fully furnished room. This option is ideal for: 😺 Cats who prefer not to stay in a group 👨👩👧👦 Multiple cats from the same household 🧘♂️ Cats who get overstimulated easily or need extra rest Food is your choice: you can bring your own food or use our range of quality brands. 📅 Available from October to mid-April, outside of school holidays. From 2026, a fixed surcharge of €25 per night applies, plus the regular rate for that period.

The price is all-inclusive: food, clean litter boxes and lots of cuddles.
We calculate the rate per night (just like a hotel).
Group rooms
In 2026, we're working with three different rates: low, mid, and high season ; see the calendar. For regular cats, we offer a 10% discount on both stays and extras during mid and high season.

We charge rates per night per cat.
If multiple cats from the same household are picked up and delivered at the same time and paid for in one go, you will receive a discount:

For bookings not made through the online tool, we charge an administration fee of €7.50.
A booking is only final once the €25 deposit has been paid and you have received confirmation from us.
